This year, as wedding planners and wedding caterers, Two Many Cooks has enjoyed the continuing trend for Festival Weddings. Open fields, laid-back vibes, handmade decor and of course, hearty, homemade, rustic dishes by Two Many Cooks!
For their Festival Wedding catered by Two Many Cooks, Robyn and Charles opted for carnival-style street food, including Paella, BBQ Jerk Chicken and Char-Grilled Corn with Chilli and Lime Butter.
We designed their wedding cake to capture the whimsical feeling of their special day, decorating it with delicate blooms of Baby’s breath, ribbons, forest fruits and fragrant rosemary.
With plenty of lush fields available in the Surrey Hills, as wedding planners, Two Many Cooks can assist you in finding the right site for your Festival Wedding!
Emily and Jim opted for Sondes Place Farm in Dorking, where they had the peace-of-mind that their guests would not be ushered home at midnight, and the party could reach its own organic end!
For their celebration tent, County Marquees built a marvellous structure, fit for the rustic feast prepared by Two Many Cooks.
Emily and Jim, who adore a pub roast following a ramble in the Surrey countryside, chose BBQ marinated legs of Salt Marsh lamb, garnished with roasted garlic cherry tomatoes, rosemary and tzataiki for their show-stopping main dish.
The male heads of each table even got to play chefs, carving the lamb for their fellow guests, sporting hats and sunglasses – for the full rock ‘n’ roll effect!
Another of our beautiful festival brides, Ellen, got fully into the D.I.Y-spirit by asking her family and friends to take care of all of the photography for her, forgoing polished prints for heartfelt mementos.
To add to the outdoor shenanigans, Ellen included ping pong and mini golf, with the whole wedding feeling like the friendliest festival to grace a field.
In keeping with the homely atmosphere, Two Many Cooks crafted two comforting main courses.
For meat-eaters, Chicken Wellingtons with Onion & Mustard Sauce & Mushroom Duxelle, Spinach, Potato Terrine. The vegan offering was Pumpkin & Red Lentil Kofta with Smoky Tomato Sauce, Lemon Dressed Quinoa & Wilted Spinach.
If you are hosting a party in your home, as bespoke caterers and party planners, Two Many Cooks will take care of transforming it into a perfectly stunning scene!
We work only with choice suppliers to source flowers, linen, glassware and any other items your event may require.
All in all, it’s been a rustically chic year for Two Many Cooks!
